The first place we stopped for food was about 15 minutes into the tour. The fish soup was delicious and the story behind the restaurant was interesting. Then the real walking started. It was almost two hours before we reached the second food stop. The food was a delicious and good sized portions. The third food stop was about 10 minutes away. Again, the food (waffles with caramel cheese and raspberry jam) was delicious and a large portion. Our guide did take us to hidden…”

“The tour was moderately interesting but we had hoped to get a little more history with the walking tour. Although we didn’t love the food, I do believe we got a small sampling of authentic Norwegian cuisine. However it wasn’t nearly as expansive as the advertisement would lead one to believe. We had several tastes of smoked salmon, some mackerel and lamb sausage, and a chicken sausage from what felt like a 7-11 type venue. “We had such a great time. Ivan was a wonderful guide, and each place he took us to was unique and special. What was the most remarkable was the beer sampling we did at Roor. We sampled 4 different Norwegian beers as the co-owner of Roor gave us in depth explanations of the beers ingredients and brewing process. This was by far the best and most in-depth beer tasting I have ever done!”
